HC21 hosted our second ONE VOICE webinar today. Benefits staff members of HC21 member organizations will have the opportunity to join us in 2019 for our ONE VOICE webinar lunch series that will provide education and foster employer collaboration on topics related to the HC21 four lever approach to value-based benefit design.
Our topic for February was RFP and Performance Standards, with a goal for attendees to successfully utilize performance standards to reach their organization's benefit objectives, and to understand how innovation can improve transparency, payment, and delivery outcomes.
Kendra Gipson, Vendor Services & Contracts Director with the State of Tennessee;
Lea Tessitore, Senior Project & Research Manager with Catalyst for Payment Reform; and
Khrysta Baig, Benefits Director with Knox County Government.
They covered information on how to develop RFP and performance standards, choosing vendors, promoting price and quality transparency, aligning your voice with other employers for a better business case, tips on what to measure and why, and their personal experiences.
