Gaye Fortner, HC21 President & CEO

On Tuesday, August 14th, Gaye Fortner, HC21 President & Chief Executive Officer, spoke at the St. Louis Area Business Health Coalition's employer meeting and provided a call to action for employers to use data, benefit design, policies, and education to actively address the opioid crisis in the workplace.

Gaye actively speaks nationally on this topic, and was recently chosen by the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions to head their newly created National Alliance Opioid Workgroup. The workgroup will convene to study the opioid epidemic and provide input and best practices to curb the issues being experienced in so many communities around the nation.

HC21 dedicated our 2014-2015 Consumer Guide on Health to this very crisis. The content is still relevant today. Click here to view the guide.
