FORUM WAS TIME WELL SPENT

Evaluations are in, and the HC21 Annual Health & Productivity Forum was "time well spent"; we hope you were able to join us.

The HC21 Team chose the theme "Waste Not" for this year's event because although healthcare in America has experienced improvements in knowledge and innovation, we continue to fall short on quality, outcomes, and cost.

This year's event included a recorded message from TN Senator Lamar Alexander, along with presentations by HC21 members on some of their successes implementing programs that improve health and reduce costs. Our speakers included Dr. A. Mark Fendrick, Director of the V-BID Center at the University of Michigan. Dr. Fendrick conceptualized and coined the term Value-Based Insurance Design. Other speakers included Pat Stewart, Director/Co-Founder at Innovu, LLC; Neil Goldfarb,President/CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health; and Joe Landsman, President/CEO of The University of Tennessee Medical Center.

As usual, our exhibit hall was filled with supporting organizations that work with HC21 and our members to promote collaboration and education.

"beneficial content" "substantive" "speakers were excellent"

"presentations were great" "great information" "content extremely valuable"

"enjoyed the new format and upper level education" "very well done"
