During this event, six national thought leaders helped participants understand the issues currently associated with managing Oncology and Specialty Rx within their organizations. Crystal discussed stop loss insurance with our attendees, and noted the top cost conditions have shifted to oncology and specialty prescriptions.

Dr. Sherman explained how some employees on HDHPs skip doctor visits, avoid tests, and don't fill prescriptions. He noted this is especially true when higher cost prescriptions are involved.

Dr. Sundar asked our attendees to remember three numbers; 700 specialty drugs in the approval process, 7,000 rare diseases that need a cure, and $700,000 price tags.
