HC21 LEARNING NETWORK SEES FIRST GRADUATING CLASS

Our HC21 Learning Network inaugural class of benefits professionals attended their fourth and final session on December 5th. The focus of this session was Contracting. Guest speakers included John Miller, Executive Director of the MidAtlantic Business Group on Health, who spoke about eValue8. Students also learned about and discussed contracting as it relates to health plans, PBMs, and vendor management.

The HC21 Learning Network was developed to further the education of the benefits staff of HC21 members, and to allow for a deeper understanding of the principles of value-based benefit design. We're excited to announce our first graduates:

  • Amanda Weaver, Benefit Analyst, Bush Brothers & Company

  • Allyson Knisely, Benefits Coordinator, City of Knoxville

  • Jill Barnes, Sr Dir of Administrative Services, Helen Ross McNabb

  • Khrysta Baig, Benefits Director, Knox County Government

  • Mark Mitchell, Senior Benefits Analyst, Nissan North America

Enrollment for 2019 has already begun. Contact Tracey Wiggins if you're interested in enrolling a member of your benefits team. Class size is limited to 6 persons, so don't delay if you're interested.
