HealthCare 21 Business Coalition was pleased to congratulate Tennessee hospitals at their 25th Anniversary Annual Forum on receiving the Spring 2022 “A” rating for hospital safety. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program and is based on over 30 national performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries, and infections, as well as systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm. The grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent, and free to the public. Grades are updated biannually in the fall and in the spring. Many Tennessee hospitals continue to exhibit outstanding quality performance even during these trying times, and HealthCare 21 is honored to help promote this accomplishment so that healthcare consumers and payers across the state have the information they need to make informed healthcare purchasing decisions.
